No. TDS means total dissolved solids, and Ethix is not a TDS-reduction system. A TDS meter will not tell you whether a water conditioner is helping with scale. If reducing dissolved salts is your goal, you need a separate treatment assessment.

Normally, no. A hardness test measures dissolved calcium and magnesium, which a water conditioner does not remove. If your project specifically requires a lower hardness reading in ppm, ask about an ion-exchange softener or another suitable treatment system.

Possibly, but the number alone is not enough to decide. Start with a proper water test and consider what the water is being used for. If drinking-water purification or dissolved-salt reduction is required, the right treatment may include RO or another process selected from the report.
